Meet Brenna
Brenna Finnegan grew up on a small family farm in northern Ohio, where her passion for agriculture was rooted early on through raising grain crops and cattle alongside her family. Today, she continues that legacy by actively raising beef cattle and living on the same family farm that has shaped her values and work ethic. As one of five siblings, Brenna remains closely connected to her large, tight-knit family, including numerous nieces and nephews who are also becoming involved in agriculture.
Brenna is deeply engaged in her local ag community, serving on the Lorain County Farm Bureau Board and the Lorain County Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Committee. Her commitment to supporting the next generation of farmers and promoting agricultural education is a driving force behind her community involvement and was what drove her to study agriculture at The Ohio State University where she majored in Agricultural Education and minored in Production Agriculture.
Professionally, Brenna brings a diverse and well-rounded background in agricultural lending, development, and outreach. Her career began in livestock production as a training coordinator for a large-scale swine operation, followed by roles as an agricultural specialist with an international food production company and a soybean and wheat production manager for a national seed company. These experiences ultimately led her to a successful career in agricultural finance. With her deep roots in farming and a strong track record of supporting producers across the industry, Brenna is committed to helping farmers grow, succeed, and thrive across Ohio’s and Pennsylvania’s agricultural landscape.
