With nearly 20 years of experience in agricultural lending, Sam Cooper offers extensive knowledge when working with customers to find financial solutions for their operation. Prior to joining AgFi in 2012, Sam worked with Farm Credit in Louisiana as a VP of Lending and Branch Manager.  Sam was raised in rural Catahoula Parish in Central Louisiana on a Hay and Cattle farm.  He spent summers working with a large row crop operation.  With an extensive agricultural lending background he has financed row crop operation, poultry and cattle farms, timber tracts all over the Southern States.  
  
Sam is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is a resident of Choudrant, LA. Sam and his family enjoy cattle farming and showing Brahman cattle.
